How to use Windows Apps in iPad using Parallels Access.

This article written speaks on how a person can use Windows Desktop Applications on his iPad. Even though a lots of other articles have been written on it but this article is unique as it uses Parallels Access to bring the Windows Apps to be used on your iPad.

Thanks to the huge collection of apps from Apple's App Store an iPad can do most of what average computer users want to do. But sometimes there's a special Windows PC program that does something not possible on an iPad.

The newly updated Parallels Access lets users run specialized piece Windows software from an iPad, iPad mini or iPhone. The program stays on the Windows PC, which runs the Parallels Access client. The user controls the PC to run the special application while away from the computer.

Parallels Access lets iPad users control their Windows desktop apps.

Take a look at our other uses for Parallels Access including .

To get started, sign up for an account with Parallels. This is the company that produces Parallels Desktop, the software that runs Windows, or other operating systems, on a Mac. Parallels Access costs $19.99/year with a one month free trial.

The subscriber installs the Windows PC client app on up to five computers. It also works on a Mac. You can also install an iOS or Android app on an unlimited number of tablets or smartphones. The service also works with Parallels Desktop, so users can run programs installed inside a virtual version of OSX or Windows running inside Parallels Desktop, which loads on the Mac.

Parallels Access presents the software installed on the computer like they're iPad apps, with their icons in the same iOS-style grid.

Here's the company's demo video that shows using Parallels Access on an iPad controlling Mac programs. It works the same way with Windows.

Download the client software for the Windows PC and run it.

Get the Windows client software from Parallels after signing up for the account. Install it, log into the program, and set it to always run. Do this from within the Parallels Access client running on Windows by clicking on the Advanced tab (see below).

We recommend selecting Log in automatically. and Start Parallels Access when I log in to Windows.

Get the free Parallels Access app from the iPad App Store. Log in and the app will show the computers set up in the previous step.

The main window shows all computers running the Parallels Access client software.

Tap on the computer running the app you want to control on the iPad and it will connect, so long as the computer is running the client software and is connected to the Internet. A grid of icons will show up that. It looks a lot like the iPad's home screen. Tap on a program icon to run it.

Parallels Access shows a grid of software icons that looks like the iPad home screen.

The app lets users add or remove program icons to the app's home screen. Tap on Edit in the upper right corner.

Edit the programs that show up on the home screen by tapping Edit in the upper right.

Go through the list and tap on the slider icon to change which programs show up in the Parallels Access main screen. A program icon will show up if the slider looks red. Tap to turn programs on or off and then tap on Done in the upper right corner of the dialog box. The Add button only adds programs, while Edit lets users both add and remove.

Tap on the Files button in the upper left to see the files on the remote Windows PC.

Parallels Access also lets users access the files on the Windows computer. Tap on the Files button in the upper left corner of Parallels Access home screen. A simple file explorer shows up with folders and drives listed along the right, and the files and folders in each folder or drive showing on the right, just like Finder on a Mac or Explorer on Windows.

To manipulate the files on the Windows computer tap on the Edit button in the upper right. A menu appears along the left. Tap a file to select it and then use the menu to .

Parallels Access users can move files around, and even edit them, by using the Open with command.

Here's some of the best use case scenarios for Parallels Access.

If $20/year seems like too much for this app, consider the free Teamviewer, which non-business users for can install and run for free. LogMeIn now charges more than Parallels Access. Neither of these solutions present the programs installed on the computer in the nice layout that mimics the iPad user-interface. This simplicity and elegance makes the programs low price a good value. Now if only they'd make a ChromeOS version of the client software.

How to make your own website Free of cost

My Own Logo

Hey guys I (Anubhav Sachan) am back with another mind blowing article for The Best within Everything.
I am a little bit confused just because I am author at another website called " SoftHax ". This makes me confused whether I shall give more attention to SoftHax or TBwE.

But now as you all had seen that in the home page of TBwE , a banner stating to build your own website but emails regarding the problem that website is not being made from the banner made me recall that Yeah I have to tell the procedure also.

So get ready for your ".tk" website.

1. Click on this Link. You will see Registrar's Home Page.
2. Select the domain name and click on GO.
3.  Now the new page which gets opened in the second line choose "Use DNS".
4. Instead of hosting on their Server u select "Use your own DNS".

There you will have to enter 2 server names.

Do it like this
Server 1:
 Name server : ns01.000webhost.com
 IP address is  208.43.152.32

Server 2:
 Name server : ns02.000webhost.com
 IP address is 64.120.10.10

Till now you might have guessed that I am telling you to use free host server of 000webhost.com

Ya! That's true.

5.Now on the same registration page
Select Registration length to be 12 months. Now,after filling other details click on Sign Up.Now register with your email by clicking E-Mail Sign Up on next page.Confirm registration via your email id.
If you're going to sign in using ssocial account then no confirmation is required.

6. As the 6th Step you have to create a account on 000webhost.com.
Fill the registration form and confirm the email by clicking on the link sent in email.
In domain name use the recently registered ".tk" domain.

HTML Punctuation marks' code

This time I (Anubhav Sachan) couldn't find out anything new so please be satisfied with this post. I assure you that in 5 days time I will be there with something really good and you are going to like it

Here are 10 HTML codes for common punctuation marks that everyone must know for your web writing to look elegant, professional and typographically correct.

The computer keyboard creates “dumb” punctuation marks that may not be acceptable in printed work but are common on web pages. It outputs straight quotation marks (") while your writing may require curly quotes. You can only type hyphens using the keyboard while an em or en dash may have made your text look more elegant and professional.

HTML Codes for Punctuation

Your keyboard lacks the keys for inserting the correct punctuation marks but there are simple HTML character codes, on entities, that you can use to mimic the typography of printed books on the web. Here’s a quick guide to using HTML codes for inserting typographically-correct punctuation marks in web writing.

Hyphens (-)

Hyphens, or half-dashes, are most commonly used to join together two or more words. You can type a hyphen directly without using any HTML codes.

The next-generation iPhone is expected to become available in mid-September.
The word email contains no hyphen but there’s one inside e-books and e-commerce.

Dashes (– —)

Dashes come in two sizes: the En dash (–) and the Em dash (—). The En dash is longer than a hyphen but shorten than an Em dash.

The En dash (–) is used for suggesting a range of numbers such as time periods, sports scores or page ranges.

Our bank is open 8a.m.–8p.m., Monday–Friday.
The players are disappointed after losing the match 3–1 to Spain.
Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865) was the 16th President of the United States.

The Em dash (—) is used to indicate breaks or pauses in a sentence, to quote sources or to separate a series of words within a phrase.

We plan to visit London this summer — if the visa is approved.
My three friends — John, Peter and Richards — are moving to New York.
“Well done is better than well said.” — Benjamin Franklin.

Ellipsis (…)

An ellipsis (…) is a series of three dots (periods) and two spaces in a row and they are used to indicate omission of one or more words in the quoted material. If the ellipses follow a complete sentence, end that sentence with a period, insert a space, then the ellipsis (…) followed by a space.

“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.…” — Shakespeare
“I have a dream … they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” — Martin Luther King, Jr

Quotes & Apostrophes (‘ ’ “ ”)

Your computer keyboard creates straight quotes (or dumb quotes) though what you really need to use are smart quotes (or curly quotes) that can be easily written in HTML. The dumb quotes are best used for writing programming code.

Use double quotation marks (“ and ”) to identify the exact words of a person, to indicate irony or for writing titles of creative works.

The last episode of “Friends” was the most-watched program of the year.
Thoreau said that “that government is the best which governs the least”.
They recalled the “toy safety” buttons as they were contained lead paint.

Use single quotes (‘ and ’) to indicate quotes within quotes. The right curly quotation mark (’) can also be used for smart apostrophe instead of the straight apostrophe.

John said, “I told her, ‘the traffic will only get worse.’”
Her answer was, “I’ll call you in the next hour or so.”

Prime (′ ″)

While we often use apostrophe (') or quotation marks to indicate units of measurement (like feet or seconds or degrees), the correct symbol is Prime that are likely slightly slanted quotes written as ′ (single) and ″ (double).

The height of this Ferrari car is 47′8″
    I am currently at 27° 11′ 45.315″N, 78° 1′ 27.1668″

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR SMART PHONE's BATTERY BACK UP

There are few things more frustrating than watching your smartphone’s battery life drain away by the middle of the day when you just put it in your pocket with a full charge that morning. And as phones get bigger, processors get more powerful, and data networks get faster, the demand for juice is greater than ever.
Luckily there are plenty of things you can do to improve your battery life no matter which phone you carry. These 10 tips should be just the thing you need to help you make it through the day on a single charge.
  1. 1.Dial down the brightness or set it to automatic: Few things will drain your battery faster than a super-bright display. You still want to be able to see your phone, but turning down the brightness to the lowest level you can stand should greatly increase your battery life. Or you can set the brightness level to adjust automatically, which allows your phone to dynamically dial up or down on the brightness depending on your surroundings.
  2. 2.Stay cool: Believe it or not, higher temperatures will cause your smartphone’s battery to degrade much more dramatically over time than cooler temperatures will. This doesn’t mean you’re automatically doomed to always suffer from poor battery life if you live in Texas, but keeping your phone away from a sunny windowsill or being hotboxed in a stuffy car should increase your battery life considerably.
    Android battery warning
  3. 3.Don’t worry about overcharging: Many people (myself included) are still used to nickel-cadmium batteries: the kind that you were supposed to fully charge and discharge lest they lose their ability to retain a charge. But lithium-ion batteries, which you’ll find in most smartphones, don’t work that way. A partial discharge on a Li-on battery is totally fine. In fact, you’re actually better off charging your phone whenever possible rather than letting the battery go all the way down to zero. It’ll actually help preserve your overall battery life over time.
  4. 4.Turn off the features you don’t need (Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, LTE)Bluetooth, GPS, LTE and Wi-Fi are all wonderful things, but you don’t need to use them all of the time, and when they aren’t in use they’re killing your battery. Do you only connect to your Bluetooth headset whenever you get in the car? Then turn Bluetooth off for the rest of the day. Going on a road trip with nary a Wi-Fi network in sight? Shut it down. Not going anywhere at the moment? Bye bye GPS. Some phones even allow you to turn your access to LTE on or off. The more your phone searches for a network, the more battery life it uses. So again, if you aren’t using it, lose it.
  5. 5.Check for email on your own: Don’t make your phone fetch your email for you. Set your email update schedule to manual and check on it yourself. This way your battery isn’t in constant use as your phone pings the servers every few minutes.
  6. 6.Update your phone’s software and apps: If you’ve ever paid attention to the fine print when updating the software on your phone, then you’ve probably seen a line burAirplane Modeied in there about improved battery life. The same goes for apps, which are often updated to use less energy. Making sure you’re always up to date is one of the easiest ways to save on battery life.
  7. 7.Close out background apps: Use your phone’s multitasking abilities to fully close down the apps  you’re not using. If there are some apps you always use, you can keep those kicking around in the background for faster access, but chances are you have a ton of stuff open that you haven’t used in weeks.
  8. 8.Stay out of poor-signal areas (or use Airplane mode)Searching around for a signal in an area where there isn’t any can be a serious drain on battery life. But it’s hard, if not impossible, to avoid areas with poor coverage. What you can do, however, is activate airplane mode as you pass through them, which turns off your phone’s cellular radio (along with Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi). You won’t be able to check your email or make and receive calls, but it’s a good trick if you’re running low on battery and passing through a relative dead zone.
  9. 9.Use built-in power management software (or download some): Some phones come preloaded with apps designed to increase your battery life — use them. And if your phone dosen’t come with any battery-saving software, you can always download some. There are plenty of apps out there claiming they can double your phone’s battery life if used properly. I’d take claims like that with a grain of salt, but they probably can’t hurt.
  10. 10.Get a battery case: If you’ve tried everything else, and you still can’t make it through the day without stopping to charge your phone at Starbucks, you might want to consider getting a battery case. Battery cases are available for nearly every phone out there and many will double your battery life. Some even promise to triple it. Sure, they add some bulk, but wouldn’t you rather have a bigger lump in your pocket than a dead phone?

I HOPE THAT AFTER FOLLOWING THE ABOVE TIPS YOUR DUMB BATTERY WILL ALSO BECOME SMART LIKE YOUR PHONE.

Program-Specific Tricks

1.Photoshop: Drag the marquee without losing the ability to size it The marquee tool is, at its most basic level, designed for selecting a part of an image. It’s used constantly in Photoshop, and there is a handy trick many users miss. While dragging it around, you can press space, which will allow you to size it while moving it. This saves time by letting your perform two key functions at the same time.

2.Steam: Move games to another drive or partition By default, Steam installs all games to the same HDD or partition, but what happens if that fills up? The solution: download Steamtool Library Manager. It makes it easy to move games to another hard drive without messing with the functionality of Steam.

3.VLC: Fix unsynced audio and subtitles In the popular media player VLC, if your audio loses sync with the video or subtitles, there is an easy way to fix this. Simply pressing J or K will move the audio forward or backwards. Similarly, to sync the subtitles you can press H or G.

The combination of using these tips and tricks on a daily basis will most certainly make your computer life much more enjoyable, or at least more practical. And so, did you learn a thing or two that you didn't know before?

How to Display your Name on the Taskbar

Hay there! The Next gen. systems provide wide ranging system-root customizations. Today I’m goanna let you know the most loved and renowned trick in the next gen. ms os workstations

.

BACKGROUND

Since the introduction of the   next gen. windows technology, which marks its birth from the introduction of  Windows XP, user has benefited  from its highly user- permeable root-settings. It started a different culture of computer literacy on yet another elevation. The percentage of computer literates burst-off to 54% of the total world’s population, most of who were initially interested in just using the bright and lively and easy to handle OS.

This culture of computer literacy elevated the NETWORKING culture to its peaks where it presently is. It was hardly any time before the contemporary that the renowned term-CRACKING (breaking in) was in a common expression. And this is what the next gen. windows technology provides- user friendly system root alterations on varied levels. This is how something called the  C.C.C. (Common Computation & Cracking)  came into existence which actually elaborates a commonly expanding practice of more and more people trying to alter system configurations into more customized settings ranging from offline to online customizations. Most of these are however illegitimate, for they harm the  Computing Protocols  at online and offline platforms.

This is just how and why the usage of cracking software has increased in the recent decade or so. Computer related professions have created demands, from assemblers to developers and programmers. Professional yet illegitimate copies of soft machines has been increasing and cracked versions or ‘Keygens’ are now available. These illicit copies however have made the IP machines vulnerable.

Displaying text near the clock

Today we will learn how to make text appear near the clock on the taskbar near the quick launch icons. This we’ll do by changing the regeitary values therefore, making no system software modifications.

This is HOW IT WORKS…

1.Hit  ‘Run’  in the Start Menu and type in  ‘regedit’(without quotes).

2. In the subsequently opening window click HKEY_CURRENT_USER

3. In the elaborated list, click on Control Paneland click International on in the successively elaborated list.

The resultant desired address is HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ International
And this is how we explore to it   HKEY_CURRENT_USER => Control Panel => International

4. In this step following registry values must be changed-
  • s1159
  • s2359
  • sTimeFormat
i )
Double-click on ‘s1159’ =>
(editable dialogue prompt will appear)change the orignal value i.e. AM to anything that you want should appear after the clock and click OK

ii )
Double-click on ‘s2359’ =>
(editable dialogue prompt will appear)change the orignal value i.e. PM to anything that you want should appear after the clock and click OK

NOTE: In the first two changes, the original values can be replaced either be short text or some character. Both may have same or different values.

iii )
Double-click on ‘sTimeFormat’=>
(editable dialogue prompt will appear) the orignal value may say anything as- h:mm:ss tt/  hh:mm:ss tt/ HH:mm:tt  etc.
Move to the beganning of the value (before the first ‘h’) -->
 write any text/name there-->
hit space bar once-->
insert the character ‘|’(it is alongside the slash ‘\’ on the keyboard)-->
hit space bar once again-->
click on OK.

step 1 to 4

steps 1 to 4

Logos

Presentations can be made a bit creative by adding some small logo-aided text. Character rich logos will be all catchy.

For example-
(¯'·._.·[(TEXT)]·._.·'¯)

¨°o.O(TEXT)O.o°

×÷·.·'¯'·)»(TEXT)«(·'¯'·.·÷×

· ··^v'¯'×)(TEXT)(×'¯'v^·· ·

,.-~*'¨¯¨'*·~-.¸-(_TEXT_)-,.-~*'¨¯¨'*·~-.¸

5. Now the changes made require that the explorer must be restarted since the alterations have been incorporated in the explorer directory. There are two ways of doing this- one, you can simply restart the machine; two,you can restart the explorer.

To restart the explorer, open the Task Manager (by  pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete)=>
go to the Processes  tab and eng the process named ‘explorer.exe’=>
move back to the Applications tab and click on New Task and create rather restart the process explorer by typing in ‘explorer.exe’(without quotes), and click on OK.

This is what you get-

finished product

NOTE: In case the text dosen’t show up, try changing/shortning the length of the text and it should work!
